Kahwa cup, Kashmir, early 20th century
*

*
The art work is reminescent of Persian craftsmanship,
that found its way through the North West frontier of India.
This cup is probably one of a larger set.
Used to drink kahwa or the Kashmiri version of tea.
Similar art is found on a Parsi jade box exhibited in the wovensouls gallery.
